Advantages: Great facilities.

Disadvantages: Could do with more cashiers in Grimsby.

I have been with Abbey National for over 3 years now and am quite happy with their service and the facilities they offer. I loved the telephone banking service it made things so much easier for me with having four children, to be able to check my account without leaving the house. But they have gone one better now and brought out online banking. I love this service evenmore, I spend a lot of time at the computer and on the internet so it is great to be able to see what is happening in my account and set up bill payments, direct debits etc. again without leaving the house.
The only compliant I have with Abbey National is in my particular branch in Grimsby if i do need to go in for anything, they never have more than two cashiers on at one time no matter how big the queue is, and you can imagine sometimes you are waiting for a rather long time. All in all though a great bank/building society as I believe it is neither at the moment, they help me get the best out of banking.

Summary:
