Brilliant Customer Service with Abbey. (Abbey National)

I opened a Current Account with Abbey in June. I received my cheque book and debit card within 12 days.
A week later, I applied for on overdraft, but I didn't hear anything. The reason I didn't hear anything is because for some reason, the letter had been lost in the post. Because of this, I thought I had an overdraft agreed, when in fact I hadn't and yesterday morning, I received a bank statement showing about 8 charges, totaling around £70
This morning, I went into my local branch, but as I was in a rush earlier, I forgot my card, which was in another wallet. Luckily, I had some ID on me, and the person that served me was extremely helpful. I explained that I thought I had an overdraft. The lady on the counter looked at my account and told me that she would reverse the charges as I had mis-understood the account. The person then went through my account details, to make sure I understood the services and charges.
Their customer service was brilliant and I am very happy with my account.

Summary: Extremely happy with my Abbey Current Account.
