Having read the previous review - I would like to add my experiences. I agree that I have had nothing but problems since taking out a fixed rate bond for my children over 2 1/2 years ago and have only just managed to get it sorted out.

When I took the bond out I ended up with the trainee - who assured me that I had nothing to worry about and that his work would be checked by the supervisor the next day. I was concerned because it was a limited edition bond which was due to close the next day.

After a couple of weeks I had no documentation and so went back into the branch to try and sort it out - I found nothing had been done and the cheques had been left on soemones desk. The supervisor then took over and assured me that everything would be sorted out and backdated to the original date I took the bonds out.

Once again after a couple of weeks the only documentation I had related to dates I went back to the branch. After numerous calls and message I got nowhere. I rang on a regular basis every couple of months but still got nowhere.

When the bonds were due to mature I went into the branch to try and sort it out but they had no details of any of my phonecalls. But I was assured that they had a good customer complaints team that would sort it out!!! I'm not surprised if this is level of work.

I recommend trying to get everything sorted out at the time and make sure you keep records of every dealing you have
