SLOW SERVICE, TOO TIME CONSUMING (Abbey National)

Advantages: HELPFUL STAFF

Disadvantages: VERY, VERY LONG QUEUES

We were members of this bank for a number of years, but we decided to close our accounts due to the bank being just too busy, and it taking anywhere up to one hour to queue to speak to a person behind the cashiers desk, we were there every saturday, and with this being our only day off work we normally had lots of things to do on this day, so we didn't always have time to queue for this length of time. With only one bank in the Leicester area, we had no option but to use this one. There were only ever 2/3 cashiers on at one time and probably another 3/4 floating around the back tidying up papers. The calls centre's were also not based in the united kingdom, and they were not 24 hour call centre's either. On a positive though the staff were always helpful!

Summary: IF THEY HAVE THE CUSTOMERS THEY NEED TO ACT ON IT AND HAVE MORE STAFF TO HELP
