I have been with Abbey National for over 15 years, and I have to say that they have been the best. I have tried other banks like Lloyds TSB, and Barclays but have always had problems with these. For example, Lloyds would allow you to draw on a cheque that hadn't cleared and then charge you daily for being overdrawn, and the cash machine took 3 days to update and so was never accurate. However, the beauty of my Instant Saver account with Abbey is that you can have instant access to your money, but they will not let you go overdrawn - and I never have been. The only slight drawback is that cheques take longer to clear - around 7 days. Apart from that I have never had any problems, either with the staff or my account and would recommend it to anyone!

Hi and welcome to DooYoo. I'm not going to repeat what everyone else has said, but I will add a couple of things.
Do you know that you can change your opinion? Just click on the "Change your opinion" button over your op and you could completely re-write your op. Before you do, have a look at some of the VU and Premier ops on the site and you'll see the sort of thing which gets the higher ratings (and more reads, and thus more money). If you do, mail me (addy on profile page) and I'll gladly re-rate. I bet the others wouldn't mind if you mailed them too!
