I've been using the Abbey National e-banking service since it's launch sometime last year. Prior to this I'd been using their telephone banking.

The service works well, in that it has never been down when I have needed access to it. The site can be slow, which may be more of a symptom of its tie-in with legacy systems at the back end than anything else. (I'm just guessing here). It is certainly slower than the dedicated cash machines, or the telephone banking facility.

If you've used Abbeylink machines, the telephone banking and e-banking facilities appear to offer the same functionality, ie. view latest transactions, setup/pay bills, transfers, view direct debits; pretty mundane stuff. But functional.

I also use Cahoot, Abbey's separate internet bank, which I find from my own experience hasn't worked as well, eg. slower, some transactions failed to be processed, confusing interface. But its improving, and I should write a separate review on it.
