Advantages: all done on MY time!, speed, range of services

Disadvantages: the need for the internet

Quite simply one of the simplest services online today... Now they have spent time, effort and money in upgrading the service it's a simplistic experince for all that come and play. I work for a major online organisation and so I spent 8-10 hours a day online (seriously!) and I remember the world before internet banking... long queues, only able to visit the branch on Saturdays due to work, 15 different forms to withdraw 1p, so on and so forth... So thank you abbey national for creating a user friendly, service enriched site that means I haven't visited a branch in over 2 years!! I mainly use the site to view my current account information. It all pops up in seperate windows and is therefore easy to track what page I'm on. The layout is clear and minimal 'moving' images mean speed to download each page is good. Transferring money can easily be done with only a few clicks and they always ask for final confirmation before doing anything so that you don't make mistakes. The homepage is simple and clear, giving overviews of all services available and if you happen to clicj through then the level of detail leaves few stones unturned. All in all its a wonderful experience and is internet banking as it should be. My only 'small' complaint is the speed of access during busy times such as 12-2 weekdays when a lot of custoemrs are online. My advice here is just be patient as it does get through, or come back after 3pm when all is calm again.
