Easy money maker... £100! (Alliance & Leicester)

I used the recent transfer offer whereby if you switched from another bank they gave you £100. This i loved and i can confirm that they did indeed give me £100 after the 4 month period! The switching process was suprisingley simple and the call centre i spoke to was knowledgeable and explained the terms and conditions fully (the call was cheap too!). They asked me to list my transfer account and any direct debits and then they emailed me within 48 hours to let me know the process was on its way. The account became fully live 3 weeks later and where a payment had been missed because of the switching service they called, admitted and refunded me the total amount!! Not the usual service you would expect! A word of caution though is that the online accounts do not give you any statements which may not be fine if you do not feel happy doing all the banking on the internet! Also, for those eco friendly people out there, they do send you MASSES of paperwork (all relevant) which is seperated up because of the security but it begs the question whether they could not have emailed this! Either way, so far, six months in, i am happy with them...

Summary: Not a bad choice for just the money
