Since signing up to Barclays online banking service about 2 years ago now I've been well impressed. Great functionality, easy to use and pretty secure from what I can see. There was a security breach recently but I think that was down to human error which you can't legislate for.

The functionality offered includes viewing transactions on your Barclays accounts over any time period you choose, view summary or detailed info, set up standing orders, view or delete existing standing orders and direct debits, transfer money to other people's accounts, request a printed statement, the list goes on. This has saved many trips to the bank to check if you've been paid, if a cheque's cleared, if a payment has gone out etc. If only there was some way of paying in cheques over the Internet, that would be cool!

There's nothing really I can fault them for. If you have a Barclays account and are on the Net then you'll find this online service invaluble.
