I'm afraid my experience of Cahoot has not been so good.
Keen on the 0% interest they were offering for the first 25000 customers, I was up at the crack of dawn the first day trying to apply. The site kept on and on crashing for weeks, and it was very frustrating to get to about stage 10 and then having to keep going back to the beginning all the time!
After applying and being accepted for a current account and credit card joint for my husband and myself, my husband then applied just for the credit card, and was accepted. My husband has had his card for about a month now, they still havent finished processing my account, and I cant say I am very happy with the service.
My husbands credit card limit was for 2000 interest free, but to start with it would only give him 460. When he phoned (and that was a long complicated process!) they said that was his maximum for cash, and a friend found the same thing. He has now been allowed to take out a further 2 lots of 400 cash though, after about a month.
Nor do they accept balance transfers, it seems like they want you to build up the debt buying new things!
Emailing them with queries it takes days for a response. And I dont think the website is any where near as user friendly as say the Egg website.
If service continues like this, we keep it going for the interest free period, but the way I feel, I cant wait to tell them what to do with their accounts!
