If you do not pay the installment as dictated by these hoodlums, they will visit your home and Office Al Capone Style and embarass and threaten you in front of your friends and family. Citibank's policy may be different elsewhere, but when it comes to debt collection in Pakistan, their activities are unethical, immoral and illegal. Even if you are a regular paying old customer and find yourself in a temporary financial set-back and inform the relevant Citibank staff about your problems, you are in deep trouble if you miss out on a few payments. When I joined four years ago, they were paying about 4% on their current account...today they pay 0.1% on balances to £2000 and then 0.5% up to £20k. This is a disproportionate decrease vs the market. So yes, I do feel I have been conned. Sucked in by the promise of higher interest rates only to find that they are now no better than the high street. BUT..I am still a happy customer and this is why.... INTERNET BANKING Not Internet Banking operations are the same. Some still only allow you to check balances and request a new cheque book. Some only let you look at ... Read the complete review
