Advantages: Pay safely
Disadvantages: Charges
Introduction
Entropay is a website that gives you a chance to protect your card details online. How does it do that? Well you can register for a virtual card online top it up and use it on a number of websites. It does protect your details in some way but remember you have to pay some of your cash about 5 percent to the website when loading funds.
Entropay has been very slow to use in my experience. The most common problem has been the slow loading of the website all the time. I have never come across a time where the site has been fast in loading up. In fact most of the times it has taken two minutes just to log in to my account!
Also when clicking on the pages for checking my card balance and cards it has been very slow. It would be better if they could make this page of the site much better. Entropay does let you create as much cards as you want online. The downside of Entropay is when you do create a card each time you load up funds to another card you are charged ten p.
Is it really worth using this site? Well if you make regular small payments then maybe yes. They make more money out of us by charging us to load onto the cards plus when moving money from one card to another they charge again to. They used to have charge 50p for making a new card before but now have cut down the charge.
Entropay cards works on websites like Paypal and even Amazon so they are a good alternative to your normal cards. The odd thing with their cards is when you make a new one they expire on the same month. For example If I was to make one today it would expire at the end of the month. This is done by the site so its users make new cards and they profit on the charges.
Summary: A different way of paying online
