Advantages: No waiting in branches- It's all online or telephone banking.

With a hectic lifestyle it had always been impossible for us to visit a bank. So when I saw a newspaper advert featuring First Direct the telephone banking service, I was more then willing to give it a go.

It has been three years since then and I have never looked back. I don't have a single negative thing to say about this bank. First Direct truly make you feel like a valued customer. They cater for your banking needs and alter their standard services so that they suit you.

I really enjoyed ringing them up to get an update of my account each week. The person on the other end was always friendly and they usually asked about how my day was. I know it doesn't sound much, but it made such a difference to the usual all-uptight-professional approach you get from most banks.

My fondness for this bank increased even more when I once went into an over-draw on my account; the bank immediately dropped all charges as it was my first time. First Direct then put an interest-free over-draft limit on my account for 250 pounds without a single piece of paper-work.

I now do all my banking online which is just as great. The website is really easy to navigate and if you have more then one account with them you could view them all together on the same page.

I don't know what i'd do without this bank!
