Advantages: too many to mention

Disadvantages: can't think of one

I have been banking with First Direct for a couple of years and have made full use of the internet and mobile phone side of things. As in other opinions, there is always someone there when you need them, and you can do everything you need to when you want to. The web site changes quite often making it even easier to use, but not so that you ever get lost.

So why are they intelligent?

I recently wanted to change my Sky Direct debit to a bill payment as I was having problems with sky taking the DD's all over the place.

I sent First diret an email to change it to a bill payment - and they contacted sky on my behalf, got all the account numbers sorted and set the bill payment up correctly. They also confirmed what they had done.

I have also found with first direct that they listen to you and we have had bank charges refunded if we can give a good enough reason why we shouldn't be charged.

On the whole I've found First Direct, convenient, efficient and intelligent. Well Done
