I was sceptical about using a bank over the net, but was fascinated by the idea. I took the plunge and opened a First Direct account and have never regretted it. Apart from a small gliche setting up(which the banks excellent customer help service talked me through) plain sailing.
Its user friendly even for the most technofobe person. Uptodate balances and clearly detailed statements on screen make keeping track of your money simple. You can either pay in money through a HSBC branch or post it First Direct. Its great for transfering money to other accounts. I only use a small part of what it has to offer but aim to maximise its use now I'm totally confident in it.
