My Step-Son Matthew bought a TV through Dixons and had a Beneficial Finance loan, part of HFC.

A month ago, I started getting phone calls from HFC on my ex-directory home number which is also TPS registered.

They wouldn't talk to me but wanted to speak to Matthew. I told them because of his working hours they'd never managed to speak during their office hours and should phone him on his mobile number, which they had.

These calls persisted and last saturday, my having worked until 6:00a.m, was awoken by a call at 08:45 from HFC. I was furious and told them the number they had rung was my private number and I did not want them to phone this number again; if they did, I would report the matter to the OFT for harrassment.

Today they rang again. I am making a formal complaint through the Financial Ombudsman Service.
