I am not a lloyds TSB custtomer but I do use there link cash machines and in the last month I have come into contact with their lack of customer service. In particular the Maidenhead branch of Lloyds TSB. On the first occassion I used the lloyds cash machine to withdraw some money. I completed the transaction and the machine returned my card but failed to produce any money. I went into the branch and complained and I was told by the lady at the desk that there was nothing wrong with the machine and that I would have to check with my bank that the money hadnt been charged. I assumed that it was a one off and two weeks later I used the same machine this time the machine asked me to take my card and my cash but neither appreared. Slighty frustrated I went into the branch and informed them that my card had been swallowed up and my cash didnt come out. I had ID with me to prove the card was mine but because I didnt bank with them they refused to return it to me and implied that it was because my bank had put a stop on my account. The lady then went on to say that I shouldnt use lloyds cash machines in the future because I dont bank with them how rude. When I went into Barclays (my bank) they confirmed that there was nothing wrong with my account and that it was due to a faulty machine. They also confirmed that the money had been deducted by lloyds (I claimed it back) I wouldnt be a lloyds customer if you paid me.
