Advantages: Good online banking.

Disadvantages: No good savings accounts.

Lloyds have excellent online banking which makes it easy to set up different types of transfers your self. Drop down menus protect against key logging to make Lloyds more secure than many other banks such as NatWest.
At the moment there are no decent savings rates but there is a history of good deals so they are worth keeping an eye on.
They have an airmiles credit card which gives you 2 free flights when you spend your first £10 and they are willing to lend - recently I was offered a £2000 credit limit despite only having a 2 year credit history.
I used to use Lloyds branches regularly and have not had trouble with massive queues, customer service in branch is good but call centre staff don't know what they're doing - I tried to switch from gross to net interest and was told once that it was impossible and another time that I needed an R85 form which does the opposite.

Summary: Good for cards but not cash.
