Hii had an account with Lloyds for a period of 12 years it was pretty much the first account i had with them. I ended up closing my account with them after disputes regading their extortionate charges. I had trouble one month with my cash flow and they piled on so many charges it took me over 3 months to get into check again.

Whilst your account is in good standing and you are paying in or asking for simple transactions in branch they are fine. If you need to ask someone about help with your finances or account and charges especially i usually just found i got a blank wall of "sorry we cannot help" whilst all the time they were just piling further charges onto the account.

So Lloyds are fine if your in credit with them and are very easy to open an account in branch with just don't expect any help if your account is overdrawn and your experiancing financial difficulty. They are just after your money and will pile on charges at any given oppurtunity.

Summary: Poorly run bank little customer service
