Where do i start with Lloyds TSB? Just about everything i've asked them to do has ended in confusion and failure. I'll list just a few examples of their bizarre behaviour whenever dealing with my accounts. Once when i requested a new debit card because my old one had worn out, they proceeded to send me SIX cards over the course of two ... Read the complete review

While a student at university I opened an account with TSB. I am 33 now so that was a while ago, and the account is still open. The bank was porivatised but nothing much changed. It was, in those days, exceedingly customer focussed. Then came the merger with Lloyds to form the bank we have now. What changed, well quite a lot, and not much for the ... Read the complete review

I just called Lloyds with an enquiry regarding my account with them. They've changed their way of checking the ID of their customers!!! Rather than being asked sensible security questions they questined me on my cheque book details!!! How stupid can this get??? Does anyone know which cheque they issued to whom when and for how much - ... Read the complete review

My boyfriend has held an account with Lloyds TSB for ten years and his weekly wage has credited the account for the same period. I moved in with him & was added onto the account. I have to say that part went smoothly. The problem arose when his wage was changed to monthly. As it was just before Christmas and his wage wasn't due until ... Read the complete review

Lloyds TSB have been getting a lot of bad press recently. They are gaining a reputation for asking old people to put their savings in to high risk investments. They appear to enjoy selling redundancy insurance to the retired and their Scottish Widows subsidiary is sailing close to the wind with endowment policy performance. They ... Read the complete review

Anyone that recommends LloydsTSB?s services is either mentally insane of works for the bank. The first stirrings of the the mighty British Institution, Lloyds Bank, began in 1765 when John Taylor and Sampson Lloyd joined in partnership to form a private bank. Since then Lloyds has expanded and gobbled up other widely respected companies until late in 1995 it merged with TSB to become known as Lloyds/TSB. The same year they aquired ... I stormed into the building, ready for battle. I stood at the enquiries desk and glared defiantly into the eyes of the woman sitting in front of me. “I would like to close my account and register a formal complaint”, I said with a swish of my hair for good measure. And it felt so good... I have had a ... Read the complete review

I have read a few different opinions, but I must. Be a lucky person I can only comment on the classic account, as that is all I have got I have banked with Lloyds TSB now for about 16 years. I must admit I did not use then for a few years, because I had moved away from my hometown and never changed addresses, it was left in my ... Read the complete review

We have been with Lloyds for years, but their level of service has deteriorated year on year. We went in to meet our personal account manager,as they kept phoning to arrange a meeting. They highlighted a few areas for change;in particular they looked at our insurance needs. They also pointed out we weren't earning much interest in our ... Read the complete review

This is one of the worst banking chains in the country. Even though it's one of the big four. It's OK if you have a current account with money going in then withdrawing it from the cashpoint and it ends then! Any other financial service offered by this bank is not worth a second glance! Their Loan, Overdraft and Credit Card rates are ... Read the complete review

I have just been into my local branch of Lloyds TSB to sort out a little problem. I have just come back with the little problem not only still unresolved, but even worse than it was this morning! This is going to be a bad review for Lloyds TSB which they thoroughly deserve. I am not a happy person. This unhappy person will be closing her ... Read the complete review

Lloyds have an excellent Graduate account which has tremendous benefits. You can quickly be given a high rating in the bank. you are given an account manager who will guide you, if some what pushy they are exceptionally helpful. I have been with Lloyds bank for about 10 years now and I have to admit I am quite well satisfied with the service I get from them. Some years ago I was going through a bad patch money-wise and Lloyds were extremely helpful once I got up the courage to actually speak to them. It's very difficult to take that first step but once I had ... Read the complete review

Having been with LloydsTSB for about four years now, I can say that they are both terrible and acceptable. I opened a Student account with Lloyds because I was drawn in by the more than generous interest free overdraft of £2,000. This has now been carried over into my graduate account and is available for three years after graduation. They also ... Read the complete review

It is now a little over a year since I with much relief managed to finally cease any sort of connection with Lloyds TSB. In the 15 or so years I have been earning some sort of money, I have banked with a number of the commonly known banks/building societies and never have I received such consistently bad, inconsiderate and uncaring service as I ... Lloyds TSB is still a dirty phrase in our house. I joined TSB as a student about 12 years ago as there was a branch near home and near to the halls I was living in. After graduation I moved to the Hampshire town where they were then based, so about 2/3 of their customers were fellow employees. Around the time of the merger I ... Read the complete review

I opened my current account with Lloyds Bank (as it was then. TSB came later) when I was 16 years old. Twenty years later, TSB have come on the scene and a lot of water has passed under the bridge but I'm still very happy with the service I receive. Just as an example...my wallet was stolen at about 5pm on a Monday. I cancelled my card at ... Read the complete review
