Update: Yet more problems with the customer unfriendly bank. We had agreed to pay off a certain amount on our credit card (Lloyds TSB card) which we did by cheque. So when we got a letter saying that we were in default of our credit account my Husband rang up the Credit Company and when they insisted they didn’t receive ... Read the complete review

I have been a member of Lloyds bank since 1976. I have remained loyal. Not once has it entered my head to change banks until recently. When Lloyds merged with TSB I ceased to become a customer and became just another statistic on their books. The branch at Bury, Lancashire that I was a familiar figure in closed down and moved to the TSB offices. ... Read the complete review

I have banked with Lloyds for over five years and when I was an undergraduate they were the only bank I found with helpful and freindly staff and a great network of machines. This is of course relevant to which branch you use. But since leaving university and staying mostly in the black, keeping up loan repayments, being as good to them as they ... How many people do you know who would recommend their bank? I would. I have been with Lloyds for 10 years now, since joining them as a student. At the time they had the best student account going, the highest amount of free overdraft and a special offer for opening the account which appealed to me more than any of the others going at ... I had been a TSB customer for many years on both a personal and Business front prior to the Lloyds Takeover. All my accounts always been in credit ant the business account in paticular was always very healthy. I contacted my local business centre to inquire about an overdraft facility and more importantly some form of debit or switch card for my ... Read the complete review

I've been with Lloyds since starting uni some 20 years ago....and before that my parents had always banked with Lloyds. I'm not sure how much longer I can stand it though! My husband and I wanted an offshore account with 2 different mailing addresses. lloyds assured us they could handle this, however only *one* of us got statements, ... Read the complete review

I joined Llyods bank when I went to university. They were offering £40 to new students and at the time it seemed like a great option. I even joined HSBC, then Midland, to make full use of these freebies - they did not care I was a member of another bank. Since then I have become more and more impressed with Lloyds TSB. For 6 years now I ... Read the complete review

I've been with the TSB for over six years now. And it's taken them only 7 weeks to make me want to swtich banks. I opened a savings account severla months ago to put money into for our upcoming baby and they lost and account. I couldn't get my money out or put any money in. They simply lost it and blamed it on a computer errors. Now ... Read the complete review

Having been with LLoyds for 17 years I now find myself being in the position of having to change banks.Apparently statistics say you're more likely to get divorced than change your bank...so it's a major step. I'm basically fed up with the bad service I've recieved over the last few months. On my part I've been a good ... Read the complete review

I can't really see how the TSB manages to make money when all of the people who they deal with usually end up feeling used and abused bynthem. They're rude at the tills, unhelpfull when you've got a problem and have mastered the art of sending you on a wild goose chase to a T. Surely there's some commision or other the governments ... LloydsTSB were two different banks before they amalgamated into 1 bank. Which ironically is a joke because they run on two different computer systems- one for Lloyds and one for TSB. I needed a question answering and was asked what bank I belonged to? What bank, I thought it was one bank only. Apparently not. Lloyds have their own ... Read the complete review
