Advantages: Staff service
Disadvantages: Saving products
Natwest:
The first impression I got when I first saw this bank, that it was a smart, professional with good products available.
Well,I might have been right on some of it.The smartness and professionalism is absolutley fantastic to every Natwest bank I've been to,especially considering that I'm a teenager. The staff are always polite and helpful should you need it.
Moving on to products, well not anything amazing really.Poor interest rates.
One that recently put me off Natwest, was the sales pitch I received while I was asking about my interest rate, not asking different accounts.
While I enquired about the rate, she said that I had an account which was no longer available to other customers and informed me that there was another account (it wasn't any better, exactly the same,no difference) available and she asked me to come into her office,in sales pitch sort of way,and she started booking me an appointment..without even asking if I wanted one.I just said yes...I never went though.
This obviously wasn't the staff's fault but Head Office had obviously wanted everyone to be transferred to the new accounts.
Generally Natwest is professinal, smart bank but with very poor products available. They aren't generally market leaders in savings or bank accounts, but good customer service.Don't use this bank if you want the best deal for your money.
Summary: If you want to be treated nice but not the best deal for your cash.
