I've been a customer with Natwest for years now and have never really experienced any major problems. I find the customer services very helpful and attentive and if they don't seem to know an answer to a question they WILL find out and get back to you. They seem very 'human' and often if you have made a genuine mistake they will ... Read the complete review

Well i've always had an account with Natwest since i was little and never really had any problems to be fair. A few years ago i decided i wanted an overdraft so to my delight they gave me one, one problem i did notice it was a little to easy to keep increasing the overdraft limit until i reached around £1200, when they realised i had ... I became a account holder with Natwest 2 years ago now when I became a student, previously I was with Barclays who did a rather poor student account, I switched to Natwest who offered a free railcard (which i've never used) as well as free over draft for 3 years, to add to this they will put me on a graduate account when I, well, graduate which ... I had a strange experience the other day. An extremely positive day at the bank! Customer care and 'what my bank does for me' is something i've been considering recently, after filling in a survey which asked me to rate how I felt the bank thought of me - with answers such as 'my bank doesn't care about me personally and I am just a number to ... I have banked with Natwest for over 12 years since i was sixteen. I have a current account with them, Isas and Savings. My experience overall has been good but there are ups and downs over the years and depending on which branch you go to. Generally inside the branches is clean and presentable and staff all wear a uniform ... Read the complete review

************************************************************ I'm adding a note in here as some of you may recognise this review from a couple of months ago and may think that I'm trying to post the same review twice. I have been with Nat West for many many years- so you would think I was deliriously happy- I am not. The customer care is good, their support is good and I rarely have a problem with them. What annoys me is there reliance on customers like me, customers who just cannot be bothered to change banks. They know this and the fact that I earn a ... Read the complete review

Natwest for me is great, They have all the features I need with a bank account and the services always seem relatively painless. To begin with (my favaroute thing with natwest) is their online banking facility. I use this on a daily basis to check my account from work, a friends, or at home. it can be done anywhere, and the process is ... Read the complete review

I am surprised by the three star rating that Natwest currently holds here since all my experiences with this bank have been positive. This was the first bank I had an account with and I still use it now for a debit account. I don't really know much about what sort of interest rates they offer since I am not too bothered (I never have enough ... Read the complete review

Three weeks down the line trying to open an E-ISA and the int. rate has dropped from the 15th May. Because they have been so slow I no longer qualify for the 3.51% which was the reason for wanting to transfer in the first place!!!
I'm going elsewhere --- Natwest ain't fit to run a bank!!!

I was with Nat West in The Drapery, Northampton and have recently closed my account with them. I had the account for about 20 years but around 15 years ago I decided to ask for a loan to buy a car. I was working in Leicester at the time and living in Northampton and the old banger I had kept breaking down. Anyway, Nat West agreed the loan in ... Read the complete review

Author must be very unlucky or is it him?
Banked with Nat West for 30+ years, online banked 8 to 10 years making life easy, local branch open to 3 on saturdays. cash ISA is top interest on any comparison site, couple of hic-cups over the years but allways resolved.
In brief that is my take on Nat West bank

I have been with Natwest for about 10 years now. Due to a previous problem I am unable to obstain credit and therefore I only have a basic current account. This includes a solo card. My tale of the student account: In this modern day and age, applying for a bank account is meant to be easy! You go online, you click apply and hey presto. I have been with the Natwest now for around 10 years. My mother banked with them and so did my grandmother; at all times they have been absolutely wonderful. Yes, there have been issues (no one is perfect), but these have all been resolved satisfactorily and quickly. They take time to understand your needs as a customer, always ensuring that you ... I am so impressed with Natwest, so much so that I feel the need to tell you guys just how good they are!I haven't had the best week and it has just been topped off with the discovery that I have been a victim to fraud.
