Yes, my bank opens Sundays and Bank Holidays! However, it's only one particular branch and that branch is the Centrale Shopping Centre branch in Croydon. I opened a current account with NatWest, just under a year ago for convenience since I noticed that they open Sundays. BRANCHES AND FACILITIES There are plenty of ... Read the complete review

I left the UK in 2000 to go to Ireland to get married then I moved to Spain for a few years. I did not return until Late 2005 after my marriage had broken up. I needed to open a bank account as soon as I got back. Previously I had been with Barclays. I had no problems with Barclays but no real help either. My parents had been with Natwest for over ... I've banked with Natwest for over 10 years, mostly through apathy. they have never valued me as a customer, supported me in a time of need, or made it easy to use their services. I've suffered repeated 'non-delivery' of cards although no other post has ever been misdelivered at our addresses. Whilst resolving the card debacle they've ... Read the complete review

Natwest charges are pain in the back side. Last six months i paid nearly £250 for tiny mistake. From last six months i been trying to bring my account to normal but stupid natwest does not let me do it because every month they slam charges on my account. Every month i bring my account to normal and think thats it no more ... Read the complete review

Take it from me - save yourself a massive and prolonged headache and DO NOT BANK WITH NATWEST!!! Yes they may give have more branches than others but the people working in them are just sales assistants - they do not have any say in decision making process. Natwest are truely useless and do not know how to operate a bank or how to give even ... Read the complete review

I have been with the Natwest since 1987, firstly opening a business bank account, but since i noticed they were charging for every cheque i wrote i soon reverted to a normal current plus account in 1990 and have still remained a loyal customer to them. For me they have been very helpful at all times and always offer offers like life insurance ... Read the complete review

I spent 14 years as a NatWest bank customer. I started as a student and stayed with them until 2003. In 2003 the company I worked for restructured and I was made redundant. Not long after, someone from my branch phoned me offering a loan - although they knew I was unemployed. The call didn't come from a call centre, but from a personal banker ... Contrary to what some other people have written here... I love NATWEST! I have been banking with them since 1998 and had very few problesm, despite now haveing 6 (that's right) 6 different accounts with them. I have been with Nat West since I was 16 years old and got my first job after leaving school. At the time I did not have a bank account and the company I went to work for offered a service where they opened an account for you if you did not have one. It was with Nat West as that was where they held their salaries account and at 16 I had no ... Read the complete review

When I was a student, I tried to open a bank account. I was recommended to Natwest by a friend. This is the first bank account that I had. When I went into Natwest and told them I wanted to open a Student Account, I was told that I was not eligible and was offered a Step account instead. I accepted it, as at that time, all I wanted was ... Read the complete review

I know that some people have not had a good experience with Natwest, but Im not one of those. I have had nothing but excellent service from this Bank and I would recommended them to anybody without hesitation. Ill give you some examples of the good service i've experienced. I have had no real problems with Natwest, I have been using them for several years now. When i first set up my account with them (in this case it was for a debit card)they required 2 forms of ID. This wasn't a problem as i had my passport and a photo id card (at this time i wasn't old enough to drive). This took about a week before I ... Read the complete review

I will be closing my Natwest business account as soon as possible. I have been trying to speak to my business manager now for the last 5 weeks! This includes 4 visits to my branch, and 4 telephone calls. It would be more except I have now given up and decided that it will actually be simpler to change branch. I have been ... I just had a bad experience with NatWest which I would like to share: Following a visit to my local NatWest branch earlier this month I was encouraged to upgrade my account. (This later turned out to be none more than paying £10/month for services I would never use. My mistake, I was lured to putting my head into the lions mouth. ... Read the complete review

I've held my current account with NatWest for around 12 years and have never felt inclined to move elsewhere. NatWest is one of the major clearing banks, and I'm the sort of person who would rather be with a larger concern, as I feel you have more options. I can honestly say that NatWest have never made a mistake on my account and I do pay close ... Read the complete review

I have had an account with NatWest for 20 odd years and have generally found them to be quite flexible when it comes to arranged overdrafts etc., but totally inflexible when it comes to accidentally being overdrawn. Up unti a few months ago, when I left college I had a nationwide cashcard account - this was fine as I only had a part time job and needed no real account services; I recently started full time employment and decided it was time for a "Proper" account.
