I've had a NatWest bank account since I was a student and I was drawn in by the lure of the student railcard. Many years later and I am still with them. I do the majority of my banking via the internet. I registered with them soon after it was set up. The website is really ease to use. You start off by entering your unique number whihc is your date of birth followed by a 4 digitis number. You then enter 3 letter from your memorable word and 3 numbers from your memorable number. Once logged in you can service your bank account, savings account, and credit card. You can set up standing orders, make payments, order cheque books and paying in books. You can view bank statements and use their financial planning tool. You cna keep a track on your money really easily.
The only time I need to go in to my branch is to pay in cheques.
Just be careful if you enter the wrong payment details and your money goes to the wrong place it's a hassle to get it back.
