I have been with Natwest Bank since I was 16 and had a saturday job, yes I too collected those dodgy piggy banks, which I believe are now collectors items - mine sadly met with a hammer, when I wanted my money out, a hammer as my mum decided I would spend the lot and superglued the stoppers in to stop me getting at it! Having moved house ... Read the complete review

I first started using Natwest when i heard about it on the television. I went to the website and filled in the form to apply for it, which was totally free! And only had to wait no longer than three days to recieve the first part of the application and another 2 days for the rest! First of all to do this, you have to go online to ... I have been with Natwest for many years and whilst their telephone banking is the worst I have ever come across, their Internet banking is good. The service has the usual number of down days but normally it is good. I have both business and personal accounts with them and am happy with the facilities provided online. I now check my ... www.natwest.com is a perfect example of how not to run an internet bank - or any other internet service. I have banked with NatWest for many years, and was pleased to note that they were launching an on-line banking service. I first registered with the .com branch of NatWest in January 2000. My impression of quite how much trust NatWest ... Read the complete review

I have held a current account with Barclays since I was just a wee nipper, but a few years ago my wife and myself changed her Natwest current account into a joint account. She has been a member of Natwest for many years and was forever trying to convince me to open an account with them. As a compromise I kept my Barclays account and opened a ... NatWest put a lot of effort into publicising their online banking service, but unfortunately the system doesn't live up to the hype. Firstly you have to get a PIN and user 'name' (a random string of letters and numbers) sent to you. I understand the need for security, but this is made far harder than it need be. Once ... my goodness, where did natwest.co.uk come from, from the look of the site an evil cross between the shockwave labs and 1993. You have to remember (or write down more likely) about 450 different bizzare letter and number groupings that the website spews out at you when you first register. The registration process takes an age compared to the online ... Read the complete review

I have recently begun the process of moving my current account to Nationwide after having banked with NatWest for the last ten years. I am not impressed with their time lagged website, lack of messaging facility and generally for their poorly trained and totally unhelpful customer services staff. As far as i'm concerned they have made one to ... Read the complete review

I recently joined Natwest Online banking and am very pleased with what I have seen so far. I am able to get into the site easily. You have a user ID as opposed to a user name, which I think is annoying as it isn't something you remember easily off the top of your head. The online bank site itself is well laid out and it is simple to ... Read the complete review

I only joined the NatWest around 1 1/2 months ago. I switched from Barclays as I needed a new account with a Solo card, and I have not been disappointed. Setting up the new account was a breeze, they sent me loads of information, with colourful folders containing information on things such as how to write cheques. I use the online banking quite ... The only thing that can be said for NatWets's online banking Web Site is... "Atrocious"! The site starts with a seriously bad and faulty Java Applet - no doubt the developers built and tested it in the office and said "WOW... aren't we great?!?" - guys - have you ever heard of online testing? My husband & I have a joint account at Nat West but I do not use it so when they went on-line I encouraged my husband to join up seeing as I already use Barclays on-line.This he did but it is a disaster it is very very difficult to use & each page takes an age to load. The whole site is not clearly explained & setting up payees involved several ... Read the complete review

The main reason i moved to natwest from halifax was the promise of a decent online banking service, and so my fiance and I would have the same bank, making life easier. However, while the bank seems ok, the online service still has a lot to learn. The worst part is the fact that it is always a day behing you, and shows no changes over the ...
