Hello i have been using paypal for quite some time now and have found it has become a defintate must for shopping and selling online. Pay-pal associated with E-bay really only use to be seen here but now is all across the web with many large on-line shops and high street names now starting to use paypal to receive payments.

One big bonus is that Paypal provide protection for both buying and selling on e-bay. I believe this may also apply outside of e-bay. I have used their dispute centre before and managed to receive a refund for an item not received from a seller on e-bay, so they do act on their consumers behalfs.

Setting up a paypal account is a simple procedure although you will have to verify your bank account (in order to prevent fraud) to make instant payments. This isn't at long winded as it seems you simply enter your bank details then 3-5 days later get a mini statement and enter the amounts paypal have credited your account with.

Pay-pal does charge a small fee for receiving payments however fairly relative to the price of your received payment. You can send gifts to people via this website and these will not incure any charges.

Withdrawing money direct to your bank account is a free process when transferring £50 or more. Amounts under this limit incur a 25pence charge.
Money takes 3-5 days to clear into your bank account.

In my opinion use pay-pal with peace of mind. An easy to use conveniant service.
