Advantages: The easiest way to send and receive money online

Disadvantages: Some high charges that spoil the site

Paypal are the leaders in internet money transactions. If you buy or sell on ebay you tend to have no real option but to use paypal. While the service they tend to offer is excellent, they are very expensive!
The charges for recieving money can be extreme, and it will eat into your profit margins in a big way. I am surprissed there has not been a rival to paypal set up in recent years. What really must be a fairly simple business, there should surely be some competition in the market!
Overall apart from the charges I am happy with paypal. Have had a few problems with ebay items and there resolution centre usally clears things up pretty well, with the odd exception.
Is also a good tool for sending money online, have done this a few times and have never had any problems with it.
Overall a very good website, but a bit of a rip off!

Summary: A good tool but just to expensive!
