On a local level RBS are good guys (RBS Royal Bank Of Scotland)

I have been with the Royal Bank of Scotland for about fifteen years. I bank with the branch at Belgrave Gate in Leicester.

I went with them because I was terribly unhappy about the way Nat West had treated me. Since then, I've had a fantastic relationship with the bank/branch.

Like many people, I don't have money, but I have to say that the royal Bank of Scotland have always tried to help and have always treated me with respect and understanding.

Yes they do have charges and they do try to sell products to make money, but that's why any bank is in business. I have had occasion to bring to their attention the fact that they have charged me, not incorrectly but maybe unfairly. After a conversation with them this has been rectified and my account credited. This never ever happened with my previous bank.

And I know the mainmen messed things up big time, but I don't have to deal with him. What he did is something I don't want to get into here.

All in all, I find that I have a good relationship with 'my' bank and I do feel it is my bank (it certainley is now, now that the public own about 80% of it). I have a branch number to call - no call centres - and I feel the take me seriously and listen to my comments.

I am really happy with them and after all this time, I'm pleased to be able to say that.

Summary: I'm happy to continue using them for the forseeable future
