Here is a piece of information that might be useful to any student who has a student account and wants to make a little bit of money from nothing. As the student account offer up to £1250 interest free overdraft in the first year you have all that money available free of charge lying in your account. If your fortunate enough to have sufficient income not ot need your overdraft here's a tip of how you can make money.

Take out as much of your overdraft as you are confident you won't need and then place it in a high interest account or even invest it in some safe venturre which will ensure you at least get your money back and at the end of the year or even the years you have your student account take out the investment pay back the initial amount owed to the bank and "hey-presto" you've just earned some money for nothing!! It may not be alot probably only £100 or so but come on at the ened of the year a £100 would get you some nice clothes or a few cds for something that would have just sat in your account doing nothing anyway? Only one tip dson't open the account with the Royal as well as they might catch you out!!
