Advantages: Good PC Banking, Pleasant staff

Disadvantages: Can't think of any

I have been with the Royal Bank for about 12 years now and I personally have had no problems with them. The account I have is a Royalties Gold which, as mentioned by another reviewer, costs you £10 per month but I think it's worth it as I travel quite a lot and I find the free travel insurance/commission free foreign currency facilities useful. I also have an interest free overdraft up to an agreed limit.

I also use the PC banking facility which I think is very user-friendly. There has been the odd occasion where I have had problems but I have found when you log a system fault it is normally dealt with to your satisfaction fairly quickly.

On the occasions where I have had to call or visit my branch the staff have always been
pleasant and helpful and the Royalties call centre staff are for the most part quick and efficient in dealing with your request or query.

Please don't think this is a plug for the bank as if there were any negative points I would most certainly use this forum to raise them. I know other reviewers have had problems but I can only give a geniuine and honest opinion of my experience with this bank so far.

Summary:
