Newest Review: ... can pay an initial lump sum and leave it, or as I do, pay a fixed amount monthly, with the option to top up using debit card or cheque always available. Any time I have done this, units are purchased promptly with the new money, as they are with the regular direct debit payments. The service they provide on the phone is excellent, with knowledgeable and friendly staff on their main number, with a freephone number for a balance check a real time saver. Any requests I have made have been correctly processed, though I do find that every time you speak with them, you seem to get a letter confirming any details you have discussed. They als... more

I have had my Virgin ISA for around 10 months and can’t really fault the product or their service. The fund has low charges (1% annual management fees, no other charges for entry/exit fees etc.) and fairly closely follows the FTSE All-Share index. Very simple. The newest addition to the ISA is that you can track it online. I do my banking online with Barclays and Nationwide and thought ...  Read the complete review

I transferred to the Virgin Maxi ISA when I could no longer invest in the PEP I had held for 2 years. The rate of growth has been excellent over an 18 month period. Due to some financial reversals, I had to make a withdrawal from the ISA account. The telephone staff are polite, helpful and the paperwork and subsequent cheque arrived promptly.
