Bar-be-quick Disposable Barbecue ... have a "portable" gas barbecue but it just seems such an ordeal to take anywhere, clean out etc that we still find ourselves using these if we want to cook away from home. They are so cheap, and once you have eaten you don t have to worry about gas bottles exploding in the hot car (or maybe that s just me). We bought the Bar-Be-Quick Pack of 5 Instant Disposable BBQ s (item 345/0664) for £9.79 so under £2 each. Each one consists of an aluminium tray containing coals and a firelighter impregnated sheet covered by a steel cooking grill in a cardboard outer box. George Foreman 13628 ... is the first George Foreman grill I have bought and I m pretty impressed with it. I was worried it might be one of those kitchen gadgets that gets shoved at the back of the cupboard after a month. It really is very versatile. I ve cooked chicken breasts, sausages, pork chops, aubergines, mushrooms, bananas, pineapple, etc. It s also really good for making toasted sandwiches or recreating those expensive paninis you can buy with some part-baked bread. Apparently you can even cook sliced potato but I have not tried that yet.
