Barbecues are widely available at the moment, however they vary in price from store to store, i.e Tesco sell there s at 2 for £5, but Wilko s sell theres for just 2 for £3, and it is the exact same barbecue as Tesco just with a different cover on them. Omega Omega 100 ... wife and I received this model as a present two years ago and we are both very impressed. The basic information is as follows: > Colour - Black > Frame - Black Metal > Assembly - Self-Build (apart from fiddly gas tap bits!) > Gas Rings - two-ports operated by individual dials > Firing Mechanism - Electric Sparker It is a handy barbecue and in the past two years of use it has been completely solid and reliable with the exception of the front hood-handle which cracked. George Foreman 14088 ... Foreman grills must be one of the best inventions ever! For ease of use, speed of cooking and definitely the ease of cooking this has to be one of the best items in my kitchen. It makes it so easy to make a quick snack and ie. chops, burgers etc. It even makes toasted cheese sandwiches so much easier and with far less mess than my old sandwich toaster. We use this on a regular basis at least 3 times a week, and is ideal whether cooking for one or more people. Great with kids in the house, it is safe for them to use and they can even clean it up themselves...got to be a big bonus. George Foreman 13628 ... old George died after 5 years of valiant service, so I had to look for a new one. There are many new models out, but I went for the updated version of my old one. It is priced around £35 at most stores, but I bought mine at Instore for just £19.99-Bargain. Sizewise, it can take up to 4 reasonable sized burgers, or 4 big chicken breasts. Main difference between this and the old one is that the feet on this one seem to slip a bit more than the old one, which is a bit of a problem when cleaning, and the fat catching tray is a lot deeper.
