George Foreman 12205 ... product is good for grilling things such as chicken, fish,burgers and even things that you would normally fry like hash browns or fish fingers and therefore as a cooking device it is fully functional. There are grooves made onto a non-stick plate which you put the food items on and the fat then runs down the grooves and into a tray which is used for the fat. The problem is however that often you will find that the grease has a way of missing the tray and so you have to be very careful about where your grill is mounted. George, as I call my George Foreman 10099, is a large indoor grilling machine. It is the ideal replacement for a frying pan and a grill, a healthy way to cook for your food. At 37cm in width and 33cm in depth it is one of the larger George Foreman Grills. You can cook up to 6 pieces of meat at a time and being a family of 5 it is the perfect size for us. George Foreman 12205 ... owned a compact version of the George Foreman grill, large enough to cook a big steak on but nothing else. The machine itself is a grill however a good analogy is to a sandwich toaster as it has 2 hot surfaces cooking the meat from both sides, essentially frying it but at an angle so the fat and juices from the meat drip out of the device into a plastic drip tray that comes with the machine. The weight of the machine is quite heavy compared to a sandwich toaster of comparable size and, like a sandwich toaster, it heats up quickly and is ready to use in about 3 minutes.
