So summer is here and the smell of bbq clings to the air. My boyfriend (who thinks he is lGordon Ramsey) decides he wants to do bbq food. Now bbq is somthing i can take or leave so my response is great lets grab a disposable one from asda (also thinking quick to clear up and unlikley to get me in trouble with my landlord having it on my balcony). You cant do that says the boy it has to be a gas bbq and off he goes researching gas bbqs.

Some hours later i find myself being dragged round the local B&Q looking at bbqs in the range of GPD 300!!!. I think boy has mistaken bbq for his need of a cranial labotomy and swiftly march him out protesting and developing a sulk.

A calming coffee and chat with boy an hour later i manage to persuade him that we do not need a supper delux peice of gastromic outdoor gadgetary and persuade him into my local argos (we may aswell its only nexrdoor ;-)). And so we start flicking through the catalog (him from the expensive end me from the cheap). And arrive at the kettle bbq.

How perfect!

Its small so can be packed away in a corner and dosnt take up the entire balcony (why cook food outside if you have to eat it inside due to no room on the balcony). It has a cover that hel cook food but also mainly stopps rain when not in use and handles that can be used to hang tongs etc from. And wheels and the best thing? It is along way away from the 300 quid my boy was looking at!

Once home it was easy to assemble and you know what the food cooked quick and tasted exactly like....bbq :-) great buy
