Advantages: Sturdy and well made

Disadvantages: Pricey in my opinion

It was probably a mistake to let the boyfriend choose the BBQ for the garden but then as it is essentially a male domain I figured he could not go wrong however next thing I know he has spent over £85 on a contraption rather than the £25 I had budgeted for.

In hindsight though it has proved to be a great purchase and once it actually arrived it did keep him occupied for an hour constructing it.

It is a charcola burning BBQ, ever the perfectionist he reckons gas is cheating and the food does not taste as good. It has a square main body and a black metal lid with a wooden side tray for storing implements or food ready to go onto the BBQ.

According to the blurb it is supposed to have a 25lb cooking capacity which is fine for us but probably would be too small for your average American family, but we have cooked for eight people using it although we did prepare the food in two stages. The grill is large enought to cope with plenty of food and the square shape means it is easier to lay out kebabs rather than some round ones we have had.

Underneath there is a storage rack for spare charcoal. The wole thing was pretty easy to assemble, is very sturdy and is also easy to clean althiough agfain that is his responsibity after all he bought it.

Summary: Good charcoal BBQ
