Advantages: handy and cooks well
Disadvantages: sits on the floor
There is nothing quite like have a BBQ on a hot summers day with all you friends. The disposable BBQ makes it so easy to spontaneously organise wherever you are. I keep on in the boot of my car just in case. The Sainsbury's large disposable BBQ is the perfect one of this type of BBQ. It is very light so I am more than happy to keep on in my boot.
The Sainsbury version is incredibly easy to use. Simply remove the plastic wrapper and the advertising paper then light the flammable card under the grill. I would advise on using long safety matches when lighting as I often burn my fingers when using a lighter. Once lit you can just relax for 20 minutes for the coals to go white (give the colas a shake up every now and then to spread the heat). After the twenty minutes you will be ready to get your sausages sizzling and your burger burning (hopefully not the latter).
As this is the large version you can fit a lot on. I had four quarter pounders and 8 sausages going at once with still room to spare. There is enough coal to distribute the heat evenly so everything gets cooked. The smaller versions usually lack enough coal and can be difficult to fit enough food on.
In would warn to be wary of the BBQ as it sits on the floor (DO NOT STEP ON IT).
When finished it is safe to leave it but I would advise on pouring water over it just to be safe. The just chuck it away and get a new one for the next time the sun is out.
These are great to get a little gathering going anywhere and cook just how a BBQ should.
Summary: a great throw away BBQ
