Advantages: Mostly recyclable, cheap and effective

Disadvantages: Mesh heats unevenly in places

The disposable BBQ is really simple and easy to use and it gives you a set of instructions to guide you, which are very easy to follow.
It should be placed on a flat surface, In the past we have simply placed it on the grass but you will get a patch of burnt grass underneath the BBQ we used four bricks to create a flat service to avoid this.
The BBQ can give off alot of smoke when first lite until the charcoal is ready to cook so if your having a party try keeping away from the party area itself.
To start you remove the packaging as well as the cardboard cover. use a lighter or a safety match to burn the paper to start the BBQ, it takes about a minute to burn through but an extra 15 minutes for the flames to fan down and allow you to cook the food.
The whole wire mesh can be used to cook food but we found certain areas were better heated than others, You can cook all types of traditional BBQ food on the disposable BBQ such as burgers, sausages and kebabs.
We also used forks to turn the food over to make sure everything cooked thoroughly, I would heavily suggest bringing a pair of tongs to as they are much better to use.
I couldn't see much difference in the quality of cooking in comparison to a fixed BBQ, but the taste I find is always better with the charcoal BBQ's so this is a very cheap way to get charcoal grilled food.
However, the BBQ does not last for as long as a fixed BBQ. It provides around two hours cooking time, which is fine for a small group or a short BBQ but could be a problem for longer summer parties. It takes a while to cool down though before you are able to dispose of the packaging.
We normally pour a bottle of water over the coals to speed up the process but most of the BBQ is ready to be recycled, including the cardboard, foil and wire mesh, but can also be used afterwards to create a fire as we have done in the past on the beath just build a fire around the BBQ and you have yourself a nifty beachfire to party around after your BBQ.

Summary: Very good value for money, perfect for a cheap summer BBQ
