BBQ's are a delight. On a hot summers day it is great to sit in the garden at the end of a long week at the office and contemplate a beautiful BBQ.

The BBQ unit does not have to be expensive. The unit we use was an own brand from Woolworths. It is small and compact. Granted it cannot cook that much, but when you are only two it is sufficient.

The unit comes complete with the necessary tools. Naturally, you have to purchase the coals and lighter blocks, but these are also inexpensive. The unit has wooden handles and can be easily moved. What you do need to ensure is that you have a raised level surface to sit the unit on.

It is also easy to clean as it virtually sits in a standard sized sink - which gives you an idea of its size. Since it is compact taking it with you a picnic has proved to be a breeze.

Roll on the next day off sunshine when I can start to cook our small buttasty barby.
