Advantages: The beer was good and the wine too from what I hear

Disadvantages: Not enough space, not enough atmosphere

A friend of mine just set up an organised pub crawl for tourists in Vilnius in the last few weeks and first on the route was Bar Bobo, advertising itself for selling good quality wine and German and Czech beers. Whilst it wasn't expensive by UK standards, it was pricey by Vilnius standards at 2 pounds a beer and although the bar was rather nice inside there was very little atmosphere.

There's little room for manouevre as they've put in as many tables as physically possible into a very small space. The Czech Budweiser was good and the staff were friendly, the music was on incredibly low and you literally had to go to the toilet to listen to it (the speakers were louder in there for some reason).

If you just want a quiet place to go and relax then this could be it but at that price and if you have a desire for fun, you could practically choose any other bar in the city and have a better time. With about 9 people we filled up the pub (it must have had 10 others in at the time), so it's definitely not a place for large groups or fat people!

Summary: Go elsewhere unless you want a quiet drink
