Dettol Antibacterial bar of Soap 125g Bar

I bought this at Savers for 69p per bar.

The package says, "for hygenically clean skin". Fresh fragrance.

I could think of a lot of benefits if I used this so Ithought I'd give it a try, here's why.

Guess what? It gets rid of spots without drying out your skin. (Result).

Ideal for those with skin conditions.

As I have dry skin and I suffer the occasional bout of Psorasis, (condition where the skin becomes red and inflamed, cracks, flakes and is very sore), I thought I'd give it a try. Sometimes my skin breaks when an attack flares up and this can let some nasty bacteria in, which leads to more pain and it takes ages for the wound to heal.

This soap seemed to suit my needs as it not only has antibacterial properties, but moisturising ones too, and guess what. It works.

The packaging also states that it "protects skin and leaves it reassuringly clean and moisturised. Kills germs and gives protection from germs including E-coli and salmonella."

We have all heard of the antibiotic resistant superbugs going around at the moment and we have all heard tales of people getting tummy bugs from poor hygeine. This soap kills bacteria so there's less chance of catching something nasty.

E-coli and Salmonella are the germs responsible for some really bad and sometimes life threatening illnesses. No one wants to get these.

The first time I tried it my skin really did feel very clean and very soft. The scent is something like a cross between a lemony and a pine smell. (Some people might not like it). I like it because it smells really clean and a bit like disinfectant, (or like hospitals used to). The smell didn't linger on my skin for long, so I didn't feel like I was a walking disinfectant bottle.

Any redness or inflamation on my skin was soothed and calmed down, and as I have a cat that occasionally leaves the odd accidental scratch or two when vacating my lap, the antibacterial properties of the soap reassured me. Dirty cat claws that break your skin can also let in nasty bacteria.

I use this soap in the bath and in the kitchen. It gives your skin a great feeling and takes away most smells from your hands when you've been cooking, (like onion or garlic).

There are other antibacterial soaps out there but I haven't found one that can compare with the price of this one. It's excellent for family hygiene too. You can't complain for 69p, especially when it gives you antibacterial protection and moisturises too.

Go on guys. It's cheap enough for you to give it a try. I would recommend this to anyone with a skin complaint or spots.

Summary: antibacterial so cleanses and protects skin

As dooyoo don't react at the moment, you can't ask them to get your review moved, you can only delete it and post it in the correct category.
