Advantages: fantastic atmosphere, beautiful people!

Disadvantages: small, so gets VERY crowded on weekends

Located on Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal, Bep and Diep are THE places to be.
These two bars are the haunts for Amsterdam's fashion and media packs, as well as artists, hip students, and the small amount of tourists in the know!
Drinks are reasonably priced, and served by staff who wouldn't look out of place on a catwalk.
Bep, the smallest of the two, has a modern, loungey atmosphere, where people chill and chat on high stools or comfy chairs.
Diep is slightly roomier, but still gets very crowded and is rowdier than its relaxed neighbour. Projected photos of partying vistors and regulars prove that fun is most certainly on the agenda!
Both bars are ideal for a few drinks on your way around the city, but if you plan to spend the night there, make sure you get there early, especially on weekends when late-comers will be left standing.
If you are looking for friendly vibes great drinks and good music in a fashionable location, head for Bep and Diep. You won't be disappointed.
