As a british expat living in Houston, and living near the centre of town, we used to drink at either the Village (near Rice Unviersity) or on the Richmond Strip. Good bars in both locations include; The Gingerman - with an awesome selection of beers on tap and bottled available, and a really nice beer garden style area out the back, The Richmond Arms, which is a replica British pub, with a good sized bar, and great outdoor seating, The Outback, a huge bar, with tons of places to hang out, and has the benefit of cheap beer night (on a wednesday) - Big Ass Beer when it's really cheap, Ron's Pub, on Fountainview - a sma... more |

With Houston being such an enormous city - at least 4 million people within the main city, and spreading such a huge distance - 30 miles in all directions, trying to review bars in Houston is pretty hard, so I'll stick to one or two areas.
