Newest Review: ... and Tequila Slammers! We had a great night in it on Saint Patrick's Day March 2008. We managed to drag a load of foreigners who were staying in our hostel. We tarted them up in green, white and gold and got them full drunk!! Then the revealing stories started. I'm not sure what they thought when some lunatic began to sing happy birthday to everyone individually and then proceeded to launch into a rendition of Auld Land Syne!! Ryan's Bar is a great spot. It's down near the river and offers a great selection of drink - from Guinness and Super Bock to Jamesons and Tequila Slammers! Ryans Irish bar is in the heart of the old town of Porto, close to the river. There is an international crowd, combining tourists and portuguese locals. The bar is on two floors, the upstairs is particularly cosy, with a magnificent stone archway and low lighting. Great selection of beers and whiskies, both irish and international. They have live music sometimes. Not too expensive....a Pint of Guinness was €4,20.
