BB's Coffee & Muffins

A couple of weekends ago, I was in town with my grandma, and I had promised myself (as well as being forced too), to have lunch in two with my grandma. The past few weeks had been hard and so I was fairly doubtful about whether I'd be able to manage but luckily I did. BBs are famous for their coffee and muffins and until recently i had never been. In our town the BBs is quite large and has a great outside area which looks over the river so it's great for a sunny day and you can always get a seat inside. The staff are very friendly even though they are generally quite rushed to serve you as they are so busy they always have time to ask how you are etc. They sell cold and hot drinks as well as milkshakes and smoothies, muffins and other cakes as well as paninis and baguettes. I often go to BBs in my local town of Chelmsford and unlike many of the other coffee shops as it is tucked away at the end of the Meadows shopping centre you can usually find a place to sit! It's always clean and tidy and it has a great outside area too - although i'm not sure all of them do so i'll try to look at it in general. They sell a great range of muffins which are made fresh in the cafe - i have seen them doing this before which i thought was impressive. Since opening in 1997, BB's Coffee & Muffins has now become the largest Shopping Centre Café operator in Britain. They have a coffee shop (or two!) in most shopping centres around the country. I quite like BBs because they are really convenient and offer good quality snacks in a good atmosphere. BBs sell a range of items including coffee, smoothies, fresh baguettes and muffins. Everything is baked daily at each store. My favourite treat at BBs is a hot chocolate with fresh cream and a double chocolate muffin. I have seen many BB's Coffee & Muffins shops around but only ever tried them last year when I moved to Aylesbury - we have one in our shopping centre. They sell different coffees, soft drinks, milkshakes and smoothies. They also sell baguettes, paninis and of course, muffins. Usually the queue is out of the door (at our shop and others I have seen) and usually the staff are forgein. Not usually a problem as their english tends to be quite good. The coffee is nice and always hot - and not a bad price compared to cafe's like Starbucks.
