Judging by the general expat throng that seems to collect in the Irish bars in Vienna, I was amazed how small the Bockshorn is. The bar can be no bigger than about 10 metres x 10 metres and as such is probably one of the smallest bars in Vienna. As a result the clientele seems to be a more fixed stream of regulars rather than tourists opportunely there, as being located of the actual Naglergasse, it is not the most easy to find. As is the wont of Irish bars, the Bockshorn has been decorated with the contents of someone's loft, and possibly to excess, as nigh on every square centimetre is covered in Guinness paraphenalia, or maps of Ireland. The beer is good with Starobrno, alongside Kilkenny and Guinness and the barstaff are friendly although tipping is mandatory. This is somewhere to pop in for a quick "one for the road" but not somewhere you'd spend the entire evening at otherwise. One quirk is the gents, with a urinal in the same room as the only toilet... Bizarre.
