The 20m-high golden Buddha watches over you as you tuck into Pacific Rim cuisine in near darkness which isn't half bad food. Like one of the Far Eastern cabaret scenes from an early '80s Bond movie, it has alcoved rooms, palm trees, exotic chandeliers and a bar in the shape of a sleeping dragon which is neat but the upstairs bar is narrow, dark and very quickly gets crowded. Best bet try and reserve one of the alcoves if you're palnning on staying in the bar for any length of time. Trying to get served at the bar late on is almost impossible as the area is taken up by chic French drinkers who simply refuse to give up their spot at the bar.
