Café Blau Stern is located just on the corner by Nußdorfer Straße Underground station (U6) and on the 37/38 tram routes (they run into the University area and out to Grinzing - a great place for going for an afternoon out of town). Being in a studenty part of town it is very busy during term time, and it can be hard to get a table at about 1pm. Its proximity to Vienna's Wirtschaftsuniversität (WU), whose students are traditionally regarded as very snooty and pretentious, although with plenty of money, makes Blaustern a place to be seen for some, although in summer it can be very pleasant for a change of scene, before heading off for a spot of shopping in the ...
