Funnily enough, this cafe is recommended in Hugh Shipman's Serious Drinker's Guide to Amsterdam, a publication aimed at people who don't just want to drink lager whilst in Amsterdam. The cafe itself is an eclectic mix of old furniture and Gig posters. The background music is usually punk, although not too intrusive during the afternoons (When we usually go), but I understand it gets a little louder at night. The bar staff are friendly and genuinely interested in why you have picked their bar. The cafe cat is particularly frinedly and will usually come up to you if you encourage it. ...
